Objective
My objective is to be an enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing, creative, helpful librarian in a public library. I have been employed at a small community college as a Reference Librarian since October 2012, and have had to wear many hats on the job, so I am familiar with all of the typical duties a librarian position entails, and look forward to new engagements, especially any programing and events. Although I am a Reference Librarian right now, it has been a dream of mine to be a public librarian from day one of grad school, and I loved every minute of what I did during my practicum while under the Children’s Librarian at the Denton North Branch, in Denton, TX. Also, I think that I can bring to the table some interesting things of note that many others may not have in their skill set, like clowning for instance (red nose, funny shoes, etc.), and I can use my knowledge and skills to help facilitate unique and engaging activities for all ages. I also have a keen eye for crafting and creating things. I like teaching others too, and with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, I understand and implement the different pedagogies while teaching others, regardless of age and topic. I sincerely and truly look forward to working with you in the future.

The above link is the link to my Goodreads account. The above link is dual purpose, to help me remember which books I have read and want to read, and to help me give readers' advisory to future patrons at the library I will be working for. The list is incomplete and not up to date, but at the time that I last worked on it I tried my best to record every book of fiction I have ever read, especially children's and YA books.
